Cancer Sucks
Cancer (For anyone wondering what is going on here):
YES we are OPEN. YES we are taking new work.
On March 24, 2021 my wife Aubrey was diagnosed with what turned out to be stage 3 breast cancer.
She started treatment soon thereafter. Treatment began with a major surgery on April 30, 2021 (Double mastectomy and Lymph nodes on one side)
On June 4, 2021 she began 20 weeks of chemotherapy. That ended in mid-October and she started around 5 weeks of radiation that ended on the Tuesday after Christmas. Now that those treatments are done. On February 8, 2022 she had a complete hysterectomy (to cease the production of estrogen which fuels her cancer) and she is currently recovering from that, and adjusting to new medications that she has to take for several years with the goal of keeping the cancer at bay. Her last surgery was July 7, 2022. We hope this will be the last one! Thank you for your continuing understanding and support.
Now as we move into 2025, we are just on maintenance. The ongoing medicines have some rough side-effects that do affect daily life, but not so much that we can't have a daily life, and THAT is something we are thankful for.
We appreciate everyone's understanding, and continued support and business as we have gone through this.
